This tough test ahead of the BVB Women’s Regionalliga season opener is set to be an absolute highlight: Reigning Italian champions AS Roma are coming to Rote Erde Stadium! The capital city club is currently the biggest name in Italian women’s soccer. Over the past four seasons, the team has won the championship three times. The Giallorossi women are thus a major force on the international stage as well and will be back in the UEFA Champions League for the 2026–27 season.

All advance ticket sales information for the highlight match against AS Roma

General ticket sales for the Black and Yellows’ friendly against the Romans have begun. BVB fans can purchase up to ten tickets in the online ticket shop. Fans of the visiting team should contact AS Roma directly for tickets.

All tickets include a public transit pass valid on VRR-operated transit (2nd class) within the Dortmund city area (fare zone 37). The ticket can be downloaded for free via the DSW21 KombiTicket portal.

The first team will also play against AS Roma as part of the season opener. Kickoff is at 5:30 p.m. at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK (get tickets!).

New Additions at the Rote Erde

On August 15, all BVB fans will have a great opportunity to meet the team and the new signings, including Alexandra Popp. The longtime captain of the German national team is one of seven new additions to the BVB Women team this summer and will be playing for her beloved club starting this season.
