Caen women’s coach in custody over alleged rapes and privacy offences involving minors | OneFootball

A women’s team coach in the Caen area has been placed in police custody on suspicion of rapes and invasion of privacy involving several underage players. Three girls, aged 13 to 17 at the time of the alleged offences, have been identified.

The teenagers were registered with La Maladrerie Omni Sports on the outskirts of Caen. The 30-year-old was arrested and taken into custody on Wednesday. Ouest-France reports that he is suspected of abusing young players and of watching some while they were naked in the changing rooms.

Alerted by its players, the club reportedly dismissed him in June 2025, then introduced awareness measures. He later found a role at a club in Gard.

The club could not immediately be reached for comment.

The case is with the Caen public prosecutor’s office.
