According to Ghanaian journalist Micky Jnr, the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaa, is not expected to attend today’s CAF Executive Committee meeting in Dar es Salaam, despite holding the position of first vice president of the organization.

At this stage, however, no official announcement has been made, and neither CAF nor the FRMF has publicly confirmed or explained his absence.

This meeting is highly anticipated, particularly to confirm the hosting of AFCON 2027, scheduled for Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, as well as to decide the host of AFCON 2028, for which Morocco, Ethiopia, and the South Africa-Botswana duo are candidates.
