Leeds United will welcome Manchester United at Elland Road this Sunday afternoon as they look to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Whites managed to earn a hard-fought 0-0 draw away at Liverpool recently, which should give them some confidence going into this game.

Daniel Farke will opt for the 5-3-2 formation and is expected to make a couple of changes to his first-team for this clash. Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Jayden Bogle could both play from the start of this game.

Defence

Lucas Perri will feature in between the sticks for the Yorkshire club after he kept a clean sheet in his last outing. Farke could name a back three of Pascal Struijk, Jaka Bijol and Jayden Bogle as they look to maintain a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.

James Justin will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Gabriel Gudmundsson hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the Man United half.

Sebastiaan Bornauw will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Anton Stach, Ilia Gruev and Brenden Aaronson will make up Leeds‘ midfield as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park. All three of them will have to retain possession well if they want to create some decent chances in the final third.

Ao Tanaka will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required. However, Ethan Ampadu will be sidelined for this game due to suspension.

However, Dan James and Sean Longstaff will miss this game because of injuries.

Attack

Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin will spearhead Leeds’ attack up top. Both of them will have to find a way to be a constant menace up top.

Noah Okafor will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if the Whites are in need of a goal.
