Vinicius Jr. played a part in Brazil’s defeat to France earlier this week, and is now making the headlines once more after missing the team’s training session after the game.
Real Madrid fear that he may be injured, but that appears not to be the case, much to Alvaro Arbeloa’s relief.
On the field against France, Vinicius crossed paths with club teammate Eduardo Camavinga, with whom he shares a special bond, and both players were even seen sharing a conversation away from the noise on the night.
The French midfielder spoke to the media during the ongoing international break after France’s game against Brazil and explained how Vinicius Jr. was a very misunderstood player.
“Vinicius Junior is truly a wonderful person, I think people don’t realise that because he’s always shouting on the pitch,” he began.
He then admitted that it is understandable why people see him as a menace, but it all just boils down to the nature of the person he is.

“They think there’s a problem, but he’s just. I don’t want to say it, but he’s a very emotional person, as you know.”
“But when you get to know him on a personal level, he’s really amazing. That is why he is my G,” he added.
Camavinga’s revelation on Vinicius, needless to say, is perhaps the most honest representation of the Brazilian star and his attitude on the field, and explains exactly why he often reacts the way he does.
For Real Madrid, his passion and emotion will not be viewed as a weakness but rather a reason to see his commitment and what the club crest means to him.
After all, he has always delivered on the field and continues to be a vital cog.
