Canal+ Foot ranks second in France as Liverpool-PSG draws 2.24 million

Canal+ Foot was the second most watched channel in France on Tuesday night as Liverpool lost 0-2 at home to PSG in the Champions League quarter-final second leg.
The broadcast averaged 2.24 million viewers, a 12.7% audience share, trailing only TF1’s Koh-Lanta on 2.73 million, according to L'Équipe.
It marked the competition’s second best audience of the season on the Canal+ group’s channels.
By comparison, last week’s first leg on Canal+, the premium channel with wider subscriber access, drew 2.43 million viewers and a 13.5% share as PSG beat Liverpool 2-0.
The third highest Champions League audience this season came on 16 September for Real Madrid v OM, which ended 2-1, averaging 2 million viewers.
