Napoli are 180 minutes away from winning their second Serie A title in three years, but Fabio Capello warns the Partenopei that they have ‘wasted’ their bonuses while Inter have ‘enough energy’ to beat Lazio.

The Serie A title race will go down to the wire as Napoli and Inter are only divided by one point with two games remaining.

“Napoli had a bonus in their pocket and they wasted it with a 2-2 draw against Genoa, as Conte said,” argued the ex-coach via TMW.

“Now, it’s all about not committing any mistakes, and I am convinced Napoli will make no errors.”

Conte’s appointment and some big signings like Romelu Lukaku and Scott McTominay have made the Partenopei genuine title contenders this season, and the exciting Scudetto race has been closely monitored by foreign fans who stay updated with the latest at news.22bet.

“At the same time, however, I feel the next Italian champions will need to wait until the last kilometre of this exciting race because Inter have a free mind and enough energy to beat Lazio,” concluded Capello.

“Nobody will give up until the last 90 minutes.”

Napoli will visit Parma and host Cagliari, while the Nerazzurri will play Lazio at home and Como away.

The Partenopei are leading Inter by just one point and saw the Nerazzurri get closer to the top spot this past weekend.

Napoli were held to a 2-2 home draw to Genoa last week, while the Nerazzurri beat Torino 2-0 away.

“Genoa had two shots on goal and scored both. These things happen too in football, when you concede a goal, you could’ve always done something better,” Conte said after the latest Serie A round.

“It’s disappointing, because we deserved to win for all that we created, so there remains bitterness and regret.

“We did not deserve to drop these two points, but at the same time we must remember we’ve lost the bonus that we had. We needed seven points from three rounds to win the title, now we need six points from two if we want to win the Scudetto, which would still be something incredible.”

Conte has already won domestic titles with Juventus (three times), Inter, and Chelsea, while Nerazzurri boss Inzaghi won the first Scudetto in his coaching career last season, leading the club to the 20th Serie A title in its history.

Inter have also qualified for the Champions League Final this season and will meet PSG at the Allianz Arena in Munich on May 31.
