Carlinhos ‘in talks’ over Japan move as Flamengo negotiate exit | OneFootball

Flamengo forward Carlinhos is expected to continue his career in Japan in the coming months, with discussions under way over a move. The striker is currently on loan at Remo.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the centre-forward, short on minutes at Remo, is negotiating an exit from Flamengo towards Japan. His priority is a switch to the country, though the club involved remains undisclosed.

Carlinhos is on loan at Remo until December this year. Once that agreement ends, he will be available on the market, as he is under contract with Flamengo until the end of 2026.

He has played six matches for Remo this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. His average is 79 minutes per appearance.

Flamengo currently have two recognised centre-forwards, Pedro, the first-choice, and Wallace Yan. The club are expected to enter the transfer market for a third option for the remainder of the campaign.
