Carrascal eyes final against PSG after win over Pyramids

Flamengo secured a spot in the Intercontinental Cup final by defeating Pyramids this Saturday, and one of the highlights of the match, Jorge Carrascal, spoke about his performance and the expectations for the big final against the favorite, Paris Saint-Germain.

“Very happy with the effort everyone put in. The truth is, the first half was tough. I tried to observe the spaces, where I could receive the ball. The second half was a bit easier for me, to find those spaces,” said the Colombian midfielder.

Carrascal highlighted the importance of set plays.

“We managed to accept that you can also win the game with set pieces. Now it’s time to rest and try to recover well. It’s going to be a very tough match, because we know the level of PSG.”
