Carrillo named by Mano Menezes in Peru squad for Senegal and Honduras friendlies | OneFootball

André Carrillo, the Corinthians midfielder, has been called up by Mano Menezes for Peru’s friendlies against Senegal and Honduras in the next FIFA window from 23 to 31 March, according to Globo.com.

Peru finished ninth in the last South American qualifiers with 12 points from 18 matches and missed out on this year’s World Cup.

Following that setback, the federation replaced the head coach and appointed Mano Menezes. This is the Brazilian’s first squad.

Carrillo, 34, is a long-serving Peru international with more than 100 caps. He played a significant role in the run that took Peru to the 2018 World Cup in Russia after a 36-year absence.

At club level he has alternated between starting and the bench for Corinthians this season. He has made 12 appearances in 2026, with no goals or assists.
