Cavani a doubt for Barracas: Edinson feels discomfort again

Edinson Cavani finished practice with discomfort in the same area where he had previously been injured and is undergoing tests to determine if he has aggravated the same injury that sidelined him from the field.

The Uruguayan striker has missed the last three matches with the team due to a strain in his right psoas. Although he was on the bench in the last game, he did not play, but he was already recovered. However, the pain returned and raised alarms.

Cavani hasn't played since September 14 against Rosario Central.

Edinson Cavani must undergo medical tests to determine if that strain hasn't fully healed and has been aggravated. If so, he will also miss Saturday's match against Barracas Central, which will be held at the Claudio Fabián Tapia stadium at 2:30 PM.

For now, he is doubtful for this match, and the club's medical report is awaited to know for sure if he will not be able to participate. If he doesn't, the attacking duo of Miguel Merentiel and Milton Giménez will remain.
