Caykur Rizespor host Galatasaray in the Süper Lig on Sunday, 8 February 2026 at Çaykur Didi Stadyumu, with the leaders aiming to protect first place and the hosts seeking a result to nudge them up the table.

Galatasaray won the reverse fixture 3-1 in August and also edged a 2-1 victory on this ground last February. Caykur Rizespor sit 12th, while the visitors lead the standings on 49 points after 20 games.

Aslan arrive on the back of back-to-back league wins, 3-1 at Fatih Karagümrük and 4-0 against Kayserispor. Caykur Rizespor, meanwhile, drew with Alanyaspor and Başakşehir after losing at Göztepe.

Caykur Rizespor are without Husniddin Aliqulov and Loide Augusto through injury, with Furkan Orak suspended. For Aslan, Mario Lemina and Metehan Baltacı are suspended, while Leroy Sané and Arda Ünyay are injured.

Season trends point to control and cutting edge from Aslan: 62% possession, 47 goals scored and only 14 conceded, with Mauro Icardi on 10 league goals, Victor Osimhen on eight and Baris Yilmaz providing seven assists. Caykur Rizespor average 49% possession and have scored six times from outside the box, so shots from range and Qazim Laci's supply could be routes to goal, while the leaders may again look to box entries and penalty-area finishing.

A home win would lift Caykur Rizespor to 23 points and pull them further from the relegation places. Victory would take Aslan to 52 points and strengthen their title push, while a draw would move them to 50 and keep the pressure on their nearest rivals.
