CBF brings forward Santos v Vitória kick-off to 20:00 | OneFootball

The CBF has moved the kick-off for Santos v Vitória at Vila Belmiro on Saturday 30, matchday 18 of the Brasileirão, from 21:00 to 20:00. Live coverage is scheduled on Premiere and SporTV, with the adjustment made to fit broadcast slots.

It will be Santos’s final match before the World Cup break.

Santos need a win to try to climb out of the relegation zone. They are 17th with 18 points, having recorded four wins, six draws and seven defeats, with 23 scored and 28 conceded.

A victory would take them to 21 points. Above them are Vasco on 20, and Corinthians, Grêmio, Internacional and Atlético-MG on 21. This round features Vasco against Atlético-MG, Corinthians against Grêmio, and Internacional facing Red Bull Bragantino.

That combination could allow Santos to join the pack and move clear on tiebreakers during the pause.

The league is due to resume on 22 or 23 July. Santos visit Botafogo on their return, with the Copa do Brasil last 16 and the Sudamericana play-off also scheduled in July.
