CBF draw sends Corinthians Feminino away to Ferroviaria in last 16 | OneFootball

The CBF draw on Monday handed Corinthians Feminino an away last-16 tie at Ferroviaria in the Copa do Brasil Feminina. The one-off match will be played in Araraquara, with date and kick-off to be confirmed.

Meu Timao notes that since 2024, eight knockout ties involving the Brabas have had home advantage decided by draw, and in 87.5% of them Corinthians have been away.

The sequence began in the 2024 Supercopa, when they beat Internacional 4-2 away in the quarter-finals. In 2025 they again travelled in the Supercopa to face Grêmio, winning 3-0, then went to Cruzeiro in the Copa do Brasil third phase and advanced on penalties. The only exception came at home to Juventude in the last 16, before a 3-1 defeat away to São Paulo in the quarter-finals.

This season has followed suit. Palmeiras were drawn as hosts for the Supercopa at Arena Barueri and progressed after penalties, while Corinthians won 1-0 away to Palmeiras in the Copa do Brasil third phase. Now the last-16 meeting with Ferroviaria will also be on the road.

Draws have not always set home advantage in CBF knockout tournaments. In the 2022 and 2023 Supercopa Feminina quarter-finals the national club ranking was used, and as CBF leaders since 2020 Corinthians played at home on both occasions.
