CD Castellón B overhaul squad and bench after securing Segunda Federación place | OneFootball

CD Castellón B are undergoing a sweeping rebuild for 2026/27. They secured a Segunda Federación berth by acquiring Tarazona’s administrative vacancy, and are driving a generational reset to consolidate in a demanding division.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the squad has been reshaped with 11 departures and 6 signings, plus promotions from the academy to blend youth, potential and know-how.

There is change on the bench too, with Óscar López leaving for Oviedo Vetusta. Zaragoza-born Juan Casajús takes charge, tasked with imprinting a clear tactical identity on a renewed group.

Pre-season is already under way with intensive work and friendlies. The league opener is set for 6 September at Gaetà Huguet against Terrassa CF.

Key exits include Toni Gabarri and Sergi Segura to Nàstic, Jorge Domingo to Ourense CF and David Sellés to Viagem Ústí nad Labem in the Czech Republic. Also moving on are Marcos Moreno to Yeclano, Zom a Zom to Atlético Mancha Real, Ismael Fadel on loan to Ibiza, Álex Alcira and Guillem Terma to Conquense, Isi Angulo to Oviedo Vetusta and Charbel to Recreativo.

In goal, Iván Biarge arrives from Terrassa, alongside the continued presence of Juanki Ferrando. The back line adds centre-backs Guillem Trilla from Tenerife B and Iago Parente from Valladolid Promesas, plus left-back Óscar Domingo from Levante’s youth, with Nacho Olivera and José Nadal retained.

Midfield options include promoted Axel Pérez and returnees Dennis Almiñana, Adrián Arapio, Enric Gisbert, Jacobo de Oro, Óscar Albiol and Joseo Díaz. New faces are Manu Portela from Villarreal C, Nacho Vizcaíno from Real Jaén and Bruno Partal from Vilassar de Mar.

Up front, Miguelón Ferrer is joined by academy graduate Jaeh Yeon Lee, new signing Fer Martínez from Águilas and the retained Nico Font.
