CD Castellón set out fresh details on the Globeenergy training complex at La Coma de Borriol and cooled talk of expanding Estadio SkyFi Castalia at a calm shareholders’ meeting. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, CEO Alberto González answered questions alongside finance director Willy Fente once formalities ended.

González said the club had consulted 17 professional teams to refine the design. Facilities for the first team, the B side, Juvenil A and the women’s team will be housed in a new building with work spaces and executive offices. The Mini Estadi will have its own dressing rooms and offices, and all departments except ticketing are intended to move to La Coma.

The club already use the natural-grass pradera fields. Priority now is the Mini Estadi, where academy pro teams will play. He indicated the reserves could start official matches there by mid 2026/27, with an opening targeted for December 2026 or January 2027.

On Castalia, he ruled out an imminent capacity increase. He said a full remodel would not come in under 35 million euros and must be justified by sell-outs, adding it is not viable while the training complex is being built. He noted seven million euros has already been invested at La Coma.

Season-ticket lending will change next year so an adult can lend to a child. The reverse will not be possible in the short term.

Addressing shop stock, long lead times with the previous kit supplier hampered orders last season. With Erreà, replenishment is faster, though forecasting still needs improvement and two years of demand data are being compiled.

With the team in the play-off places, shareholders asked about football matters. González stressed it was not his remit. On winger Brian Cipenga’s possible renewal, he said the player has taken a big step, but he does not know or cannot say how talks are going.
