Zeki Celik’s agent denies that the Roma defender has reached an agreement with any other club for a possible free transfer, after some Italian sources claimed he had shaken hands with Juventus.
Fazil Ozdemir, agent of Roma defender Celik denies an agreement to leave the Stadio Olimpico as a free agent in June.
Italian newspaper La Stampa reported earlier this week that Juventus had practically booked the Turkish defender’s signature for the end of the season.

“Reports claiming that Zeki has reached an agreement with another club are inaccurate,” wrote the defender’s agent via Goal.com.
“He is currently playing for a major club, and it is natural for top teams in Italy and England to show interest in a player competing at this level and for his name to be linked with such clubs.
“His contract with Roma expires at the end of the season; however, he has great respect for the club. At this stage, he is not focused on contractual or transfer matters. His full attention and commitment are dedicated to supporting Roma in achieving its objectives. We believe that all other matters will be addressed and resolved in due course, professionally and respectfully.”

Multiple sources in Italy, including Gazzetta and Corriere dello Sport, claim that Celik has asked for €4m per season to extend his contract with the Giallorossi.
The Turkey international has become a regular starter under Gian Piero Gasperini this season, scoring one goal and providing four assists in 31 appearances across all competitions.
Corriere dello Sport reported on Saturday that Juventus and Roma would also compete for the signature of Marcos Senesi as a free agent this summer, as the Argentina international won’t extend his expiring contract with Bournemouth.
