Cenk transfer to Trabzonspor set at €1,750,000, paid in six instalments | OneFootball

The Kamuyu Aydınlatma Platformu, KAP, Türkiye’s official disclosure system for listed companies, has published the final terms of Cenk Özcakar’s permanent move from Valencia to Trabzonspor. The fee is €1,750,000, payable in six instalments.

Valencia preferred a clean break over a loan, because even if they had saved his full wages, this season’s salary account would still have had to include the annual amortisation.

As it is a definitive sale, the club will book a small loss on the deal, around €250,000. Valencia had €2,000,000 left to amortise from the €5,000,000 paid to Olympique de Lyon three seasons ago.

Özcakar signed for five seasons, so the annual amortisation was €1,000,000.

After this transfer, that annual charge will not be counted in the figures that apply to the salary limit.
