Aston Villa are leading the race to sign Noni Madueke this summer and have renewed optimism they can complete a deal according to reports.
It’s set to be another busy summer at Stamford Bridge, with the Blues believed to be looking to sell seven or eight players to fund moves in the market.
Chelsea face a critical window with a number of key positions needing to be filled, and the Blues are looking to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker.
There’s set to be plenty of movement in the wides areas, with Chelsea likely to take a decision on whether to send Jadon Sancho back to Manchester United at the end of the season.
The Blues are still in the dark over Mykhailo Mudryk’s situation following a positive doping test in December, and it’s unclear if he will ever play for the club again.
Chelsea have most recently been linked with Nico Williams, whilst Estevao Willian arrives this summer, with exciting Portuguese talent Geovany Quenda arriving in 2026.

It means at least one wide player will likely leave this summer and Give Me Sport have reported Madueke could be that player, with Chelsea said to be frustrated with him.
The report states Aston Villa are leading the race for the England international and have renewed optimism the Blues would be prepared to sell if they received an offer that allows them to make a profit.
Give Me Sport add Newcastle are expected to challenge for the 23-year-old’s signature and it’s believed Madueke could be open to leaving if it becomes clear his game time will be limited at Stamford Bridge.

Madueke still has five years left on his contract having joined from PSV Eindhoven for around £29m in January 2023, and was recently linked with a move to AC Milan.
The winger has been one of Chelsea’s better performers this season with seven goals and three assists in 23 Premier League appearances, whilst he returned to training on Friday in a huge boost for Enzo Maresca.
