Sergio Conceicao has a limited set of available players to choose from when Milan take on Girona in the Champions League on Wednesday evening, as at least three players will be unavailable through injury while another misses out through suspension.

Fikayo Tomori has picked up yellow cards in matches against Bayer Leverkusen, Slovan Bratislava and Crvena Zvedza and is now suspended for one match. Malick Thiaw is expected to be unavailable as well, which leaves a starting centre-back pairing of Strahinja Pavlovic and Matteo Gabbia.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Samuel Chukwueze and possibly also Christian Pulisic could also miss out this evening, so not too many changes are expected in midfield or out wide following the 2-0 loss against Juventus in Serie A over the weekend.

Pre-match reports suggest that Ismael Bennacer will start next to Youssouf Fofana with Tijjani Reijnders in the trequartista role, with Yunus Musah and Rafael Leao out on the wings.
