Champions League / Kompany lights the fuse ahead of PSG – Bayern

Bayern Munich are rolling forward like a steamroller. Fifteen matches, fifteen victories, across all competitions. A record of icy perfection that reflects the rise of a disciplined, ruthless, and irresistible team. Just this Saturday, the Bavarians crushed Bayer Leverkusen (3-0) with a heavily rotated squad, proof that the German giant’s bench depth has few equals on the continent.
On Tuesday night, the Bavarian club will head to the Parc des Princes to take on Paris Saint-Germain in what promises to be an electric showdown. Vincent Kompany, at the helm of this ambitious and conquering Bayern side, wants his team to keep up their momentum.
"We’ve won 15 matches, that’s good, but we have to keep going. It’s not enough yet," declared the Belgian manager ahead of the trip to Paris.
The former Manchester City captain didn’t hide his excitement at the prospect of a top-tier duel:
"This match has to be rock’n’roll. They have confidence, we have confidence. This is the best Europe has to offer," he added.
To prepare for this showdown, Kompany rested several key players against Leverkusen—Harry Kane, Luis Díaz, Michael Olise, Dayot Upamecano, and Aleksandar Pavlović—to ensure his squad approaches the fixture with no trace of fatigue.
With the Parc des Princes expected to be a cauldron, Bayern arrive with the composure of the great teams. Up against a PSG determined to make a statement in Europe, Kompany and his men are intent on imposing their style. The message is clear: Munich aren’t coming to Paris just to defend their unbeaten run, but to confirm their supremacy.
