Inter Milan overcame Barcelona to reach their second Champions League final in three years, carried by a sold-out San Siro.
Per Calcio e Finanza via FCInterNews, Inter’s European heroics have substantially boosted the club’s finances this season.
Fresh off breaking a gate receipt record for Serie A clubs in Europe, Inter squeezed past Barcelona to book tickets for Munich.
In doing so, Simone Inzaghi equaled a historic club feat, drawing level with the legendary Helenio Herrera.
Indeed, they’re the only Inter managers to reach two Champions League finals.
More importantly, the club’s coffers swell with €132 million in revenue, strengthening Inter’s financial position ahead of the summer.
