Former West Brom left-back Charlie Taylor has joined Championship rivals Derby County on a one-year contract.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the 32-year-old moves to Pride Park after spending last season at the Hawthorns.

Taylor arrived on loan from Southampton in September 2025 and made 28 appearances in a difficult campaign for the Baggies, who ultimately secured their Championship status.

After his Albion loan ended, he was released by parent club Saints. He will stay in the second tier with Derby next season.

The left-back previously made more than 160 Premier League appearances for Burnley, having begun his career with Leeds United.
