In a recent report, Bolavip claimed that Chelsea are eyeing a move for Palmeiras forward Vitor Roque. It has been stated that the Blues are planning to move in for the Brazilian talent later this year.

Roque’s Impressive Rise In Brazilian Football

The 21-year-old is having a decent campaign at the Brazilian club as he has produced a string of eye-catching displays for them in the final third this season. Roque has banged in five goals and grabbed one assist in 13 matches for Palmeiras in this campaign so far across all fronts.

The Brazilian prospect is currently among the best young forwards in South American football. Hence, Chelsea would do well to lure him to Stamford Bridge this summer.

His current contract at the Brazilian club will run out at the end of 2029, which could make it difficult for the Blues to sign him on a cut-price deal this off-season.

Chelsea Are Eyeing A Move For Roque: Is He A Prospect For The Future?

Roque is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to create a few promising chances for his teammates to find the back of the net and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.

Standing at 1.74m, the Brazilian sensation could struggle to adapt to the physical demands and high intensity of the Premier League if the Blues manage to get a deal done for him this summer. Roque is primarily a centre-forward but can also operate as a left-sided wide player if required. However, he is still quite inexperienced at the highest level and would need time to adjust to life at the West London club.

Still, Roque would undoubtedly enhance the quality of Liam Rosenior’s frontline in the long run. He is already good enough to serve as a good, rotational piece in Chelsea‘s match-day squad.

At 21, the future looks quite bright for Roque as long as he continues to improve with each season. He is a prospect to watch out for in the future, so the Blues would be wise to step up their efforts to land him at the end of this campaign.
