It is likely to be another busy summer at Stamford Bridge, with the Blues preparing for a return to the Champions League after a successful first season under Enzo Maresca.

The goalkeeper situation at Chelsea is one that will come under particular scrutiny, after Robert Sanchez failed to convince when starting the majority of matches in the Premier League.

Lucas Bergstrom will leave the club when his contract expires on June 30, bringing an end to his six years at the club.

The 22-year-old did not make a single senior appearance in a Chelsea shirt but was named in the squad at times last season, including for the Conference League final win over Real Betis.

Fellow goalkeeper Eddie Beach is also being released, with the 21-year-old having spent last season on loan at Crawley.

Teenager Luke Campbell has not been retained either, as Chelsea part ways with three goalkeepers.

There could be more departures to come as Arsenal look to complete the signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The Spaniard, who signed for Chelsea in 2017 for £72m and was on loan at Bournemouth last season, is believed to be close to sealing a move to north London.

The Gunners are looking to sign a back-up goalkeeper to David Raya and have reached agreements with Chelsea and Kepa, who has a £5m release clause in his current contract.

Chelsea are keen to sign Mike Maignan, who will this summer enter the final 12 months of his contract at AC Milan.

Maignan is said to want to join the Blues, but Milan value him at around £25m and Chelsea been hoping to agree a deal closer to £10m.

Like Sanchez, Djordje Petrovic has an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge and Filip Jorgensen is unlikely to be the club’s first-choice goalkeeper next season.
