Chelsea ‘considering’ Liam Rosenior’s future before Leeds FA Cup semi-final

Chelsea are assessing Liam Rosenior’s position ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley against Leeds United, according to Sky Sports.

The Blues travelled to Brighton on Tuesday night badly out of form, having lost four straight Premier League matches without scoring.

Brighton won 3-0 at the Amex, leaving Chelsea beaten in five successive league games without a goal for the first time since 1912.

Rosenior remains in post as things stand, though a change could be made before Sunday. Club leaders are taking stock after the Brighton setback.

It remains too early to say whether he will lead the team at Wembley. Players have been given the day off.
