Chelsea simply cannot catch a break when it comes to red cards this season.

The London club saw a player sent off for the fifth time in the Premier League this term as Marc Cucurella was given his marching orders in their clash with Fulham.

The Spain international was sent off for the denial of a goalscoring opportunity as he hauled back Harry Wilson, who was clean through on goal.

He joins Robert Sanchez, Trevoh Chalobah, Malo Gusto and Moises Caicedo as the Chelsea players to have been sent off in the league, while they have received a further two in other competitions.

Only in the 2007/08 season have they ever been given more in the league, when they were shown six in a single campaign.

With Liam Rosenior set to take charge, can he solve Chelsea's discipline problem? Or will they surpass the previous record of six red cards with just under half the season left to play?
