One of the few successes Chelsea have had in the transfer market in recent years has been Estevao.

The young winger was signed from Palmeiras long before he was eligible to come to Chelsea, and stayed on loan at the club which had developed him. When he finally arrived at Stamford Bridge he was ready to make an impact, as we’ve seen this season.

Now, according to rumours on Brazilian sports side UOL, the Blues are ready to repeat the trick with a new player. In fact, it’s another players from the same club.

Eduardo Conceicao is the next exceptional talent off the production line, and this report claims Chelsea are one of them.

The left winger has an £87m, release clause for foreign clubs, although it’s stated that the actual price would likely be closer to £60m. He still hasn’t graduated to the Palmeiras first team – you can assume the number of scouts watching him is only going to grow.

John Obi Mikel has lamented Chelsea’s decision to sack Enzo Maresca, claiming the Blues would soon have been competing for titles had they stuck with the coach.
