A Chelsea player has bizarrely claimed that Atalanta ‘didn’t really create’ too many problems for them last night.
Well, I guess they did though, because they won 2-1, or has Trevoh Chalobah forgot about that!? He also got a silly yellow card and had to be subbed off at half time. Atalanta were for me the better side, had some very good chances, and scored two goals; one more than Chelsea. So I’d say there was quite a few problems there that they caused, no!?
Chalobah, who has actually been one of Chelsea’s better players in recent times, reacted to the defeat last night:
“We’re obviously down and disappointed. It is three points lost.
“They didn’t really create us too many problems, and it is important when it is 1-0, in the first ten to 15 minutes of the second half to stay in the game and give yourself the best opportunity to win.
“They scored and it put us on the back foot, and in the second half we didn’t really get going and didn’t get control.”

Chalobah continued:
“We have to stick together. It is easy to be together when you are winning but these are the times when you need to come together as a team.
“We have been in this situation before, every team has, so we need to focus on the next game, and it is another opportunity to get a result.”
Pundit Michael Dawson has described Chelsea’s performance as bizarre and says that the Barcelona game now feels like a distant memory.
And one journalist has described Enzo Maresca’s excuses after the game as ‘batsh*t’ and has gone at The Blues boss with a little bit of a rant on him after the game.
