Reports from France claim that Premier League side Chelsea could rival Juventus to the signing of Paris Saint-Germain loanee Randal Kolo Muani, who has not yet confirmed his plans for the 2025-26 season either way.
Kolo Muani joined Juventus on a straight loan deal during the winter transfer window, and PSG later allowed the Frenchman to extend his stay until the end of the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.
He got his campaign underway with a first-half brace in a 5-0 win over Al Ain in the opening round and is expected to start again in Sunday’s group stage match against Wydad AC.

According to reports from l’Equipe, both Chelsea and Manchester United have shown an interest in signing Kolo Muani for the 2024-25 season.
The 26-year-old will return to the Parc des Princes at the end of his extended Juventus loan spell, but is not expected to be part of Luis Enrique’s plans for the 2025-26 campaign.
Juventus remain hopeful of extending Kolo Muani’s stay in Turin for next season, but could now face competition, particularly from Chelsea, according to Sunday’s reports.
The West Londoners have already picked up Liam Delap from Ipswich Town this summer, but could invest in another centre-forward if Nicolas Jackson is allowed to leave.
l’Equipe claims that Cheslea could have an advantage over Juventus in negotiations with PSG, as they could be in a position to offer a permanent deal with an upfront fee, while the Bianconeri are expected to be looking at another loan deal with a possible option or obligation to buy.

Manchester United have also reportedly shown an interest, although less concretely than either Juventus or Chelsea according to l’Equipe.
The player himself, meanwhile, has recently admitted that he ‘feels very good here’ with the Old Lady and that he ‘hopes to stay’ for next season,
