Chelsea will look to maintain an upward trajectory when they host Ajax in the Champions League this week.
The Blues are on a run of three straight wins across all competitions after a brilliant second half showing against Nottingham Forest at the weekend.
Enzo Maresca’s side are now aiming to make it back-to-back Champions League wins after overcoming Benfica 1-0 on Jose Mourinho’s homecoming last month. That came after defeat to Bayern Munich in the first League Phase fixture.
Ajax have endured a miserable start to their European campaign, losing 2-0 at home to Inter Milan on matchday one before suffering a 4-0 loss at the hands of Marseille last time out.
The Dutch giants - four times winners of the competition - are now managed by John Heitinga, who was part of Arne Slot’s coaching staff at Liverpool last season, but the 41-year-old has endured a difficult start to his reign.
Chelsea vs Ajax is scheduled for a 8pm BST kick-off on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
The match will take place at Stamford Bridge, west London.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on TNT Sports. Coverage starts at 7pm BST on TNT Sports 2 and TNT Sports Ultimate ahead of the 8pm kick-off.
Live stream: TNT Sports subscribers can also catch the contest live online via the Discovery+ app and website.

Chelsea hope to have Enzo Fernandez available for selection after the midfielder missed the win over Nottingham Forest at the weekend with a knee issue.
The Argentine has trained with his team-mates ahead of the Champions League fixture, a positive sign that he will be involved against Ajax.
Elsewhere, Jorrel Hato will hope to feature against the club he left in the summer and Malo Gusto is likely to start ahead of his Premier League ban at the weekend.
Joao Pedro is suspended after receiving two yellow cards in the win over Benfica, meaning he joins Cole Palmer, Levi Colwill, Benoit Badiashile, Liam Delap and Dario Essugo on Chelsea’s list of absentees.
Ajax announced their 23-man travelling squad on Tuesday but Kasper Dolberg and Steven Berghuis have not made the trip to west London.
However, Owen Wijndal, Ko Itakura and Don-Angelo Konadu are all available. The same goes for Wout Weghorst and Davy Klaassen - formerly of Manchester United and Everton respectively.

Given the nature of both teams and how they like to set-up, this fixture should guarantee goals. That said, perhaps only for one side as Ajax are yet to open their account in the competition this season.
Furthermore, Chelsea will be without the likes of Palmer and Joao Pedro which means the onus will fall on Alejandro Garnacho, Marc Guiu and Pedro Neto to ensure the hosts come out on top.
Chelsea to win, 2-0.
The 4-4 draw between the two sides at Stamford Bridge in November 2019 will forever be remembered as an instant classic.
