Blues star missed training this week after picking up knock during draw with Manchester United
Chelsea staff will make a late call on whether to pass Cole Palmer fit for Sunday’s match against Arsenal.
The Gunners visit Stamford Bridge level on 18 points with Chelsea, who are expected to be much-changed from Thursday’s 8-0 Conference League win over FC Noah.
The Blues are sweating on the fitness of star man Palmer, who is walking freely after picking up a knock against Manchester United but missed most of the club’s training sessions this week.
If Palmer is not handed a start, then Joao Felix is the most likely candidate to take his place in the No10 position after the Portuguese scored twice in the first half on Thursday night.
“He is better,” manager Enzo Maresca said on Thursday after beating FC Noah. “He is getting better. We still have two days, tomorrow and Saturday, to prepare the game, and hopefully we can have him for the session at least on Saturday. Then we will take the decision.”

Palmer and Jadon Sancho, who has been ill and also had a knock, watched the Noah game together.
Maresca explained on Wednesday: “He [Sancho] is recovering from [illness]. He had a knock in the session. We will see if he is available [against Arsenal] or after the international break.”
Chelsea predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Sanchez; Gusto, Fofana, Colwill, James; Lavia, Caicedo; Madueke, Palmer, Neto; Jackson
Injured: Kellyman
Doubts: Palmer, Sancho
