Enzo Maresca’s unbeaten Chelsea make the short trip to Brentford for their fourth consecutive London derby.
The Blues arrive in strong form after a controversial but important win over Fulham. They will be determined to end a surprising three-match losing streak against their West London rivals. However, a growing injury list presents a significant challenge for Maresca to navigate.
Enzo Maresca’s forward plans have been dealt a major blow. New striker Liam Delap is now out for up to three months with a serious hamstring injury. He joins fellow summer signing Dario Essugo and defender Levi Colwill on the long-term absentee list, which will test the depth of the squad.
The manager does have some reinforcements available, though. Cole Palmer has returned to training after a groin problem and could feature.
In addition, new signing Alejandro Garnacho is expected to be named in the squad, offering a fresh attacking option. João Pedro will lead the line in Delap’s absence, supported by the creative duo of Pedro Neto and the record-breaking young dribbler, Estêvão.
Chelsea predicted XI: Sanchez; Gusto, Tosin, Chalobah, Cucurella; Caicedo, Enzo; Estevao, Pedro Neto, Gittens; Joao Pedro.
The Premier League fixture will be played at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday, 13 September 2025, with kick-off scheduled for 8 pm BST.
The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League, and Sky Sports Ultra HDR, with coverage starting at 7:45 pm BST.
