Tottenham have reportedly come forward and opened talks with Juventus to start seriously exploring a deal for Federico Chiesa.

The 26-year-old Italian winger is not part of Thiago Motta’s squad for the pre-season retreat in Germany, staying in Turin following his recent wedding with partner Lucia Bramani. He is currently training individually at Continassa, waiting for his teammates to return.

Chiesa is not considered part of Thiago Motta’s project moving forward and hasn’t agreed a new contract with Juventus, making a departure this summer all but guaranteed as the club look to avoid losing him on a free transfer next summer.

Coach Ange Postecoglou is a fan of the 26-year-old Italian, appreciating his versatility and ability in one-on-one duels. The winger is open to the move and would be excited about the prospect of playing in the Premier League.
