Guadalajara returned to form and, with intelligent management of the game, dominated Necaxa on the pitch to defeat them 3-1 on Tuesday night at the AKRON Stadium, in Matchday 10 of the 2025 Apertura. Gabriel Milito's team got off to a good start in this week's doubleheader, as these 3 valuable points brought them to 11 and put them in contention for the Play In spots.

During the first half, Guadalajara performed better than their rivals, as they recovered the ball and carried it quickly into the final third to repeatedly threaten the visitors' goal.

In the second half, despite conceding an early goal, Guadalajara managed to control their emotions and took advantage of transitions to extend their lead, which led to Samir Inda's stunning goal that put the final nail in Necaxa's coffin and marked the scoring debut of the Homegrown Rojiblanco youth player, just moments after stepping on to the pitch.

Chivas now has to turn its attention to its next match, as it travels to Puebla on Thursday to face La Franja on Friday night at the Cuauhtémoc Stadium, as part of matchday 11 of the national championship.

The goals

- In the 32nd minute, their superiority was reflected after a precise pass from Luis Romo to Richard Ledezma, who only had to serve diagonally for 'Hormiga' to put it away.

- In the 43rd minute, Santiago Sandoval received the ball with an advantage over his marker inside the area, and with Unsain off his line, he simply tapped it in to find the back of the net.

- In the 48th minute, a shot deflected off Luis Romo and ended up in the Rebaño’s net.

- In the 93rd minute, Samir Inda took the ball on the edge of the area and with a cross shot pierced Necaxa's goal, crowning his debut in the first division with a goal.

The dangerous moments

- In the 8th minute, Guadalajara built up play from the back until finding Miguel Gómez inside the box, who took a shot from the edge of the area, but it went wide of the Necaxa goal.

- AKRON's roar was stifled! In the 13th minute, a perfect cross from 'Cotorro' on the left found 'Richy' at the far post, who anticipated his marker and connected with a cross-shot, but the post prevented him from getting on the scoreboard.

- In the 23rd minute, 'Hormiga' took advantage of a turnover on the break to line up for goal and send a fierce left-footed shot that grazed the post.

- In the next play, the Rayos again lost the first pass, forcing Unsain to make a double save, first from Omar Govea and then from Efraín Álvarez.
