Through bravery, strong team play, and a history-making performance from Alicia Cervantes, Chivas Femenil claimed the advantage in the Clausura 2026 Quarterfinals First Leg, defeating Pachuca 2-1 at Estadio Jalisco. ‘Licha’, the “Goal Predator”, delivered an unforgettable moment at the Coloso de la Calzada Independencia, becoming the club’s all-time leading scorer with 161 goals.

From the touchline, Antonio Contreras tilted the balance in favor of Guadalajara starting in the first half, forcing errors from the Hidalgo side that allowed his team to generate danger in the attacking third. That’s where the “Goal Predator”made her mark in the 35th minute, giving the Rebaño the lead before halftime.

In the second half, efficiency once again favored Guadalajara, as Jasmine Casarez extended the lead. The 2-0 opened up spaces for las Rojiblancas to exploit on the counterattack and put even more pressure on the visitors. Not even a controversial penalty that led to Pachuca’s goal managed to overshadow the strong performance from the Chiverío.

Now, Chivas Femenil will look to finish the job next Sunday, May 3, when they play the Second Leg at Estadio Hidalgo alongside the Rojiblanca Nation at 9 PM.

Goals

  • PURE HISTORY! In the 35th minute, Alicia Cervantes became the top scorer in the history of Club Deportivo Guadalajara with a far-post finish from the left flank that struck the post and went into the net.

  • Pachuca pulled one back from the penalty spot through Andrea Pereira.

Chances

  1. So close, ‘Eva’! In the 74th minute, González picked up the ball in the attacking third and fired a left-footed strike that narrowly missed the Pachuca post.
