Chivas' youth teams are in the final stretch of the 2025 Apertura and on Saturday morning they faced Mazatlán in Matchday 13 of the 2025 Apertura. With important wins at home, the Cantera Rojiblanca teams took a key step toward qualifying for the tournament finals. Under-21s
The Rebaño's Under-21s beat Mazatlán 3-1 at the Gigantera facilities. The scoring opened in the 22nd minute with a goal from Leonardo Torres, who scored his second just three minutes later, in the 25th minute, to extend the lead. The third Rojiblanco goal came from Maximiliano Bustos in the 67th minute, while Elías Andrade scored for the visitors in the 52nd minute.
With this result, Chivas moves up in the standings, sitting in seventh place overall with 20 points.

Similarly, the Rebaño's Under-19s won 2-0 at home against Sinaloenses. The scoring opened in the 31st minute with a goal from Aldrin Mariaca, and later Zinedine Hernández extended the lead in the 80th minute to seal the Rojiblanco victory in Guadalajara.
With this result, the Rojiblancos reach 21 points and are in ninth place overall, just one spot away from the playoff zone.
