León, Guanajuato. - Action officially returned for Guadalajara's youth teams, who took to the field at La Esmeralda on Saturday to face their counterparts from León. In these matches, the Rojiblancos teams imposed their conditions and took home the full spoils, with the U21s winning 1-2 and the Rebaño U19s thrashing the Panzas Verdes 0-3.

Under-21
Guadalajara started the 2025 Apertura on the right foot, beating León 1-2 at La Esmeralda. The match was dominated by the Rojiblancos, who, true to form, controlled the ball and tried to take the lead, which allowed them to create scoring opportunities and take home the three points.
Isaac Brizuela, Miguel Gómez, and Yael Padilla played for the Rebaño Sub 21 and were instrumental in achieving the positive result. In fact, Padilla assisted in the first goal.
The goals
0-1: The Rebaño struck first in the 6th minute thanks to a great play by Yael Padilla, who broke down the left and sent in a great cross for Diego Latorre to put the ball in the back of the net.
0-2: Chivas extended their lead in the 32nd minute through Carlos Corona, who fired a powerful shot from outside the box.
1-2: The Panzas Verdes pulled one back in the 50th minute through Yael Uribe.

With a spectacular second half and an incredible performance by Brandon Brocksom, the Rebaño Under-19 team earned three points in their first match of the tournament. The match was tight at the start, which was reflected in the scoreless tie at halftime. However, the adjustments made by Benny Ferreyra paid off and helped the Rojiblancos secure the victory.
The goals
0-1: In the 61st minute, Brandon Brocksom, who had come on as a substitute a few minutes earlier, opened the scoring. The striker took the ball confidently and scored the first goal of the match from long range.
0-2: Five minutes later, Brocksom shone again, showing his composure when he found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and then finishing impeccably.
0-3: Brandon completed his hat trick in the 77th minute when he picked up a rebound inside the area and buried the hopes of the Panzas Verdes, crowning his extraordinary performance coming off the bench.
