Real Sociedad could receive an unexpected windfall if Cho finalises a move from OGC Nice to Hull City for around €20 million.

According to AS, Real sold the 23-year-old French forward to Nice in January 2024 for €10 million plus €2 million in add-ons, keeping 15% of any future capital gain.

At that price, Nice’s profit would be €10 million, meaning Real would collect one and a half million euros if the agreement is completed.

Cho spent a season and a half in Donostia after joining from Angers for €11 million.

He made 36 appearances under Imanol Alguacil across all competitions, but his impact fell short of expectations.
