City have been drawn with Southampton in the FA Cup semi-final.
The tie will be played at Wembley across the weekend of 25 and 26 April 2026 – date and time to be confirmed.
The Blues made it through to this stage by defeating Liverpool 4-0 at the Etihad while the Saints saw off Arsenal 2-1 at St Mary’s - with City academy graduate Shea Charles bagging the winner - to book their spot in the last four.
This tie will be our 23rd trip to Wembley under Pep Guardiola and our second this season after triumphing over Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final.
We’ve won the historic competition seven times in total, with Guardiola leading us to two of those triumphs.
Southampton, meanwhile, have won the trophy once, beating Manchester United 1-0 in the 1976 final 50 years ago.
The last time we faced Southampton in the FA Cup saw a 4-1 quarter-final triumph in March 2022 courtesy of goals from Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez.
This season’s other semi-final pits Chelsea against Leeds.
Chelsea comfortably beat League One Port Vale 7-0 to progress while Leeds defeated West Ham on penalties at the London Stadium.
