We’ll take on the WSL newcomers, promoted as second tier champions last season, on Sunday 6 September, with kick-off set for 14:30 (UK).

MATCH-BY-MATCH TICKETING UPDATE

It’s the Blues’ first season in the top flight since 2021/22, though we faced them en route to our FA Cup triumph last season, winning 1-0 in a tight quarter-final at St Andrews.

We then face Birmingham’s cross-city rivals in Aston Villa, with a trip to Villa Park set for Sunday 13 September at 18:30.

A home clash with Liverpool on Friday 18 September at 19:00 and a trip to newly promoted Charlton Athletic on Saturday 26 September at 13:30 follow in the first month of the campaign.

City to host WSL matches with Arsenal and Manchester United at Etihad Stadium

City will once again play two fixtures at the Etihad Stadium in 2026/27.

The first of those comes against Arsenal on Sunday 4 October at 16:30, with the second seeing us face Manchester United on 12/13/14 February 2027.

Our Etihad showdown with United will be the second Manchester derby of the season, with the first meeting coming on 23/24/25 October.

City’s 2026/27 Barclays Women’s Super League fixtures have been revealed…

A winter break will once again be in effect next season, with our final match of 2026 seeing us welcome Everton to the Joie Stadium on 18/19/20 December.

We then return to action on 8/9/10 January 2027 with a blockbuster home tie against Chelsea at the Joie Stadium.

Fast forward to the business end of the season and our final home match of the season sees London City Lionesses travel north on 7/8/9 May, one week before the FA Cup final is due to be played.

We will then complete our 2026/27 WSL campaign away to Liverpool on 21/22/23 May 2027.

As previously stated, the date and time for all fixtures beyond the opening weekend are subject to change due to broadcast selections.

WSL TICKETS

As previously stated, a new staggered ticket release process will be introduced for the 2026/27 campaign.

The first release will take place on Friday 31 July at 10:00 (UK) for priority members, with tickets then going on general sale from Monday 3 August (10:00).

Tickets will be available at a newly introduced Early Bird rate for a limited time only.

Supporters can purchase a two-game Etihad Pass from the first ticket release as well as the individual tickets for the first Etihad fixture at a newly introduced Early Bird price.

The Early Bird ticket window will be introduced for WSL fixtures, allowing supporters to purchase tickets at a discounted price before standard pricing applies.

It also gives buyers the opportunity to enter a ballot for the chance to watch the players arrive before the match for the game they’ve purchased tickets for.

Hospitality packages will also be available from Monday 3 August for anyone wanting to secure a seat for a game later in the season.
