The Lionesses will play Spain and Ukraine next month to conclude their 2026 Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign.

Sarina Wiegman’s side are currently top of Group A3 having won each of their four matches so far and they’ll be looking to cement their place at the major tournament after the next round of fixtures.

Greenwood, Hemp and Blinkilde Brown’s inclusion comes after Andrée Jeglertz’s side concluded our triumphant Barclays Women’s Super League campaign in 2025/26.

The Blues were crowned champions of England after gaining 55 top-flight points – equalling our highest-ever in the division – and we lifted the trophy for the first time since 2016 after our final day victory over West Ham.

City are now eyeing further success when we lock horns with Brighton in the FA Cup final on Sunday 31 May.

Following the prestigious competition’s showpiece, the Club’s trio will be hoping to help their nation against Spain on Friday 5 June at Estadi Municipal de Son Moix, with kick-off set for 20:00 (UK).

The Lionesses will then play Ukraine at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium on Tuesday 9 June at 20:00 (UK).
