CITY STAR

Rayan Ait-Nouri (£6.0m) returned nine points in Gameweek 1 and could prove a handy acquisition in Gameweek 2 of Fantasy Premier League.

City’s summer signing picked up a clean sheet, a bonus point and two defensive contribution points in Gameweek 1. No Blues player registered more defensive contributions than Ait-Nouri’s 15; courtesy of six tackles, six clearances and three interceptions.

During the FIFA Club World Cup, Ait-Nouri showcased his attacking return, getting an assist in the 5-2 victory over Juventus. Last season, no defender notched more attacking returns in the entire game than the Algerian’s 11 thanks to four goals and seven assists.

ONE TO WATCH

Mohammed Kudus (£6.5m) has been the man to watch for Spurs this summer. The Ghanaian returned two assists in Gameweek 1 against Burnley. No player created more chances across the opening weekend.

DIFFERENTIALS

Elsewhere, Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers (£7.0m) and Sunderland’s Dan Ballard (£4.5m) are low-owned gems who have good potential in Gameweek 2.

Rogers scored regularly in pre-season and is a strong Fantasy option against a Brentford defence that conceded three times to Nottingham Forest in Gameweek 1.

Ballard sits top of the overall points totals with 17 points after starring in Sunderland’s 3-0 win over West Ham. He faces Burnley in Gameweek 2.
