UEFA has appointed Clément Turpin to referee Tuesday’s Champions League round of 16 second leg between Manchester City and Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium.
It will be the third time in the past two seasons that the Frenchman, 43, has taken charge of this fixture.

He oversaw last season’s Champions League play-off first leg, when Real Madrid won 3-2 at the Etihad.
On 10 December last year he handled matchday six of the league phase at the Bernabéu, where Manchester City won 2-1.
In both of those Real Madrid v Manchester City matches he awarded a penalty to City, and Erling Haaland converted each time.
