Club Brugge are concerned that they may be without former Wolves winger Carlos Forbs for the upcoming Champions League clash with Atlético Madrid. As reported by HLN, Forbs missed out on training due to an injury sustained during the sides victory over Cercle Brugge at the weekend. Thankfully, the winger has not suffered a fracture, but the bruising he suffered is casting doubts on whether or not he will line up for Club Brugge against Atlético Madrid on Wednesday.

Club Brugge could certainly do with Forbs, who has been a revelation for the side in the competition this season. Forbs really struggled to make an impact while on loan at Wolves from Ajax last season, but he has certainly made the most of his move to Belgium. After only 11 appearances without scoring or providing an assist for Wolves during the 2024/2025 campaign, he has played 35 games for Club Brugge with six goals and eight assists. In the Champions League, the 21-year-olds pace has really challenged defenders and helped Club Brugge open up games and hit teams on the counter.
