Club Brugge midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic has refused to rule out his return to Inter Milan in the future.

Speaking to Circus Daily via FCInterNews, the Serbian starlet discussed a potential reunion with the Nerazzurri.

Furthermore, the 20-year-old has quickly established himself as a permanent first-team fixture at the Jan Breydel Stadium.

Indeed, he has already made 29 appearances for Ivan Leko’s side this season, racking up two goals and two assists.

However, Stankovic could come back to San Siro at the end of the season.

Aware of the youngster’s potential, Inter have included a buy-back clause in their deal with Club Brugge.

Yet, Stankovic won’t return cheaply, as the Nerazzurri must pay around €23 million to bring him back to Serie A.

Given the teenager’s scintillating form in Belgium, it’s hard to imagine Inter not triggering the buy-back option.

While Inter have the upper hand, they are not the only side interested in Stankovic.

After going from strength to strength in the first half of the season, the Serb has become a wanted property.

For the moment, Stankovic is happy in Belgium.

“It’s an incredible feeling,” he confirmed. “The club welcomed me with open arms and guided me throughout the season.

“We still have a lot of work to do, but I’m really happy here.”

Furthermore, he thanked the club and his new teammates for helping him settle in.

“Thanks to the club and my teammates, we’re working hard. There’s a great team spirit.”

When asked whether he’s considering a return to Inter, Stankovic replied: “Honestly, I don’t think about it. I only think about Club Brugge.

“Everyone knows the situation, but the most important thing is to stay focused, work together, and be a big family.
