I’m sure he’s a very good teenager. But Chelsea are out there trying to sign all the top young players around the globe. What about their own academy? And how are they all going to be playing for Chelsea down the line? They wont be, obviously. It’s just a good way of making profits. If they turn out good enough, great. If they don’t turn out good enough, great, as they can spin them for a profit. That is the Chelsea way under this ownership. Some like it, some don’t, but I assure you, the majority don’t.

GOAL have relayed a report via UOL in Brazil saying that Palmeiras confirm they rejected €25m offers for 16-year-old forward Eduardo Conceicao.

Apparently, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City have all reportedly made contact with the player’s representatives.

With all those clubs in for him, I’m sure he’s a very top prospect.

In other news today…

Former Blues midfielder Jon Obi Mikel has laid into Chelsea’s owners for their decision to get rid of Enzo Maresca back in January, calling it a “big, big mistake.”
