Coaching duo leave Corinthians Women for Brazil national team

In the week following the celebration of the Women's Libertadores title, Corinthians had to make changes to the technical staff of the department due to two departures. Lygia Nader, the Brabas' doctor, and Tiemi Sato, the nutritionist, left the club after seven years of contribution to join the Brazilian National Team permanently.

The duo was already part of Arthur Elias's technical staff but shared their duties with obligations at Corinthians, being absent from Parque São Jorge during FIFA dates. Now, after achieving the title, they have left, and the club has already appointed replacements for their roles.

According to Meu Timão, Dr. Vanessa Melo and nutritionist Murilo Perez, who were the main names in the club's youth categories, will take over the roles left by Lygia Nader and Tiemi Sato, respectively. The latter was already part of the Libertadores-winning staff.

After conquering America, Corinthians focuses on the Paulistão competition and, in the meantime, is already planning for the Copa das Campeãs, which will take place next year. The Brabas will face Gotham FC in the semifinal of the competition, which is set to be held in London between the end of January and the beginning of February.

With the success of the season, including the Brasileirão and Libertadores titles, the management will try to retain most of the squad to avoid another overhaul of the Brabas. The main negotiation is for the renewal of Lucas Piccinato, but there are also talks for extending contracts with other players.
