Blues attacker Cole Palmer has paid tribute to one Chelsea director that he calls the goat on Instagram this week.
It comes off the back of Palmer scoring two goals to help Chelsea thrash PSG in the Club World Cup final on Sunday night to become World Champions.
Striker Joao Pedro then calming chipped the PSG goalkeeper to make sure Chelsea won the game comfortably and achieve what many thought was impossible this summer.
It was an emphatic and incredible night for anyone involved with Chelsea Football Club, and the celebrations are ongoing!
Cole Palmer will admit himself that he has not been at his best all season and actually, he had a real rough patch and dip in form after Christmas and was really not playing well at all.
But even then he was still coming up with goal contributions and he turned up when it mattered in the Club World Cup final to become the Chelsea talisman once again.

Chelsea director Joe Shields is largely said to be the one behind bringing Palmer to Chelsea after being with him at Manchester City, and as you can see above, Palmer is showing some love to Shields on Instagram this week.
He uses the ‘goat’ emoji which means Palmer is calling him ‘the greatest of all time’ with this tribute.
It’s very interesting to see this from Palmer, he obviously feels like he owes a lot to Shields for continuing to back him and believe in him, and also believing in him enough to bring him over to Chelsea which has so far ended up being a good call by all involved.
