Martin Baturina has emerged as one of the most coveted young midfielders in Europe following an impressive season at Como, with two unnamed Premier League clubs preparing offers in the region of €50-55 million for the Croatian, while Bayern Munich had already made preliminary approaches months earlier.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Como are well aware of the interest and have taken a firm stance, the club have no intention of selling and would only consider proposals in the region of €80 million, a figure they regard as the threshold for what would constitute an extraordinary offer for a player who turned 23 this year.

The rigidity of Como’s position is rooted in Baturina’s importance to Cesc Fabregas’s system.
The Croatian attacking midfielder has been one of the key architects of the club’s historic rise to the Champions League, and with European football now secured for next season, the club have even less incentive to weaken their squad by parting with one of their most creative and influential players.
Bayern’s earlier monitoring of the situation suggests awareness of Baturina’s quality has been building across Europe for some time.
The arrival of Premier League offers in the €50-55 million range confirms that interest has now moved beyond admiration into something more concrete, though at their current valuation, Como appear entirely prepared to wait
